Emily Rayburn
Mom, Writer, and AI Tinkerer
I write about life and build what I need to get through it.
Hi, Nice to Meet You

I'm Emily, I overthink, overplan, and definitely overshare. You've been warned.I create tools and systems to make me feel like I have life under control. Spoiler alert, I do not, and hardly anything ever goes according to the plan.So I write entertaining stories about my life because I am a verbal processor and my family has learned to tune me out.The hubs and I are parents to three teenagers, all homeschooled, recently relocated to Florida. I am also a full-blown Disney adult and I don't care if you judge me for it.
Best Laid Plans
A weekly online ramble for moms who do not need one more tip, trick, or inspirational quote. This is the stolen minute in the pantry. The extra three minutes in the car before you make yourself go back inside. You read something fun, maybe even a little thoughtful, and you feel more like yourself after.New post every Thursday, over on Substack. One email a month that rounds them all up, because I won't clutter your inbox. You have enough going on, I never want to add to your to-do list.
The Rambling Mrs. Rayburn

The same stories out loud, at roughly twice the speed. Podcast and YouTube, coming as soon as I stop overthinking it and find some time I don't currently have.
Products I Make
I've started using AI to build what I need for my own house. Meal plans, homeschool units, schedulers. Sometimes they turn out really well, and I figure somebody else may want them too. So I decided to sell them.Fellow AI nerd in training? I will hand you the prompts and you build your own. Not your jam? Grab the ready-made version, or I will tailor it to your people. Still not what you need? Then we start from scratch and build whatever is rattling around your head. It's here if you want it, keep scrolling if you don't. You will never get a launch sequence out of me.
Come Work with Me
I've never been great at group projects or networking, but I'm trying to learn.I am good at public speaking.
Several people have told me that, and they cannot all be lying. Right?Lives, guest posts, podcast swaps, guest speaking, something nobody has thought of yet.
